Achievers

                    ACHIEVERS   I have been to institutions of learning where the graduating students are celebrated.  We were encouraged to eulogize their outstanding qualities that we would love to emulate and we often get the chance to present this piece during the graduation ceremonies.They were like victors coming back from an epic war, like conquerors who just won new colonies for their fatherland, like Nigerian footballers winning the world cup for the first time, l Those that ended with a 2.2 draw (second class lower), those who beat the system narrowly on 2.1(second class upper), and of course a good number of those with flawless victory; first class graduate abound in their number even from the school system  hitherto notorious for not producing first class. So much for academic achievement (well that is the primary yardstick), they are more than just intellectuals, how much for their sporting prowess, sense of innovation, entrepreneurship skill, political acumen and ab
